Postdoctoral Position in Digital Medicine and Chronic diseases

 

Position Title: Fellowship in Digital Medicine and Chronic diseases

 Hours per Week or % FTE: 35 hours/week or 100% FTE

 Required/Preferred Education, Experience, Skills:

Applicants must have a PhD in epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, public health or equivalent degrees. An established track record of original, first-author, publications is a must. Candidates should demonstrate established quantitative research skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in writing protocol, grant proposals, and the ability to work independently and with collaborators.

Duties & Responsibilities:

An outstanding candidate is sought to work on an ambitious grant proposal dedicated the « Healthcare 3.0 : Digital Medicine and Chronic disease ».

 The research program will be directed by Pr Philippe Ravaud, director of the Centre of Research in Epidemiology and Statistics Sorbonne Paris Cité (INSERM/ University of Paris Descartes), director of the Centre of Clinical Epidemiology at Hotel Dieu Hospital (AP-HP), director of Cochrane France, and director of the French Equator Centre.

Major emphasis will be placed on drafting the grant proposal, litterature review, meetings with important stakeholders.

The fellowship is for a one-year period, with renewal after the first year conditional on performance. The position is available starting December 1, 2016. 

The salary will be according to the AP-HP salary grid and according to experience.
